PawPaw's BULLMASTIFFS
About Our Bullmastiffs

PawPaw's Bullmastiffs is the dream of Jim and
Trudy Beaver.  We fell in love with the "gentle
giants" while surfing the web looking for a
companion to fill an empty spot after our german
shepherd died. So we got Pitcher. He certainly did
fill up our empty spot.  Then we found Pitcher a few
years later, wishing on a star for a dream girl to fill
his empty spot and we got Catcher.
Bullmastiffs are described as only wanting "to be
near their masters".  How can any one describe us
as "masters"?  They are as happy to be near us as
we are to be near them.  We never leave home
without them and they have traveled across the
country with us from Alabama to California and
back twice.  They are better travellers than any of
our children ever were.
We are trying to maintain the pure standard of the
breed and breed more for personality and affection,
even though they are perfect for show and
conformation.
